Park Review

A very good urban dog park. The small dog area is a rather small square so no chance for running. The large dog area is a quite big "L" shaped area. The grass is thick and the shade is provided by plentiful trees with park benches below them.

The only special feature in both areas is a waist high mounted water spigot with good pressure that is surrounded by a square area of river rocks. If your dog likes to get wet you can spray them without getting muddy.

There are tubular poop bag dispensers that the park users are asked to fill with old grocery bags. There are no blue bags supplied. My assumption is that this is a go green initiative and we applaud it.

The closest parking is on the street on 21st avenue.

The large dog park area gets very busy so be mindful of your pet to avoid any fights.
