Park Review

A rather big park with plenty of shade and a complex sprawling layout. There is a fenced off inner area with exercise equipment. Large and small dogs mix. The poop pick up seems to be done by the users with supplied scoopers. There is water available. The dogs and users seem pretty laid back which is probably due to its size and layout allowing people to spread out. Parking is on the street and limited. A good community park.

This is a nice older park with lots of mature shade trees. The grass is kept up and there's plenty of room to run. Several picnic benches and pooper scoopers for humans. The weird thing about Shawnee, is that there is no posted timid dog area. There is a fenced in area 50 feet inside the main enclosure. If this is meant to be the timid area, you would have to walk or carry your dog through the main area. Poor planning. This park is in the middle of a residential area and gets a lot of dog traffic. Too much for my mind. We probably won't be back for that reason. Grade B, Thanks again,
