Park Review

We like this park. Both the small and large dog sections are huge, the grass is in good shape and there is water and shade provided by a common canopy. When you are inside you don't feel cramped. In fact with the large expanses of grass on all four sides of the enclosure you almost get a feeling of the chain-link not being there. No special features just large open area.

You need to climb down a fairly large hill to get from the parking lot to the dog park. We would not recommend this park for seniors or those in poor health. It sounds as though there is a sewer overflow issue as well, please see the note below.

We visited Sunnyslope at the end of Dec '09.  The area is very large but there was a strong odor of sewer gas while we were there.  It smelled quite toxic.  Because of the smell we did not stay very long!  Just wanted to add my 2 cents. - Violet's Mom
